Microsoft Office Mobile is an office suite developed by Microsoft for Windows Phone and Windows Mobile Professional, Classic, Standard editions and Symbian. It consists of Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, OneNote Mobile, and Outlook Mobile. It is intended to be compatible with desktop versions of the office suite. Word Mobile is capable in formatting documents, and has the ability to save documents in several formats including Rich Text Format, Microsoft's DOC format for reading on desktop versions of Word, and simple text files. It permits insertion of pictures, lists, and tables to documents, but pictures must be added on the desktop version of Word, and cannot be moved with just the copy/paste procedure. It has a word count tool, spell checker, and a "Find and Replace" command. Office Mobile initially introduced as Pocket Office on Windows CE 1.0 Handheld PCs in 1996. It has since been updated many times, and its latest version is the Microsoft Office Mobile 2010, was released on October 21, 2010 with the preliminary launch of Windows Phone.

Microsoft Notepad

Notepad is a basic text editor used to create plain documents. It is commonly used to view or edit text (.txt) files, and a simple tool for creating Web pages, and supports only the basic formatting in HTML documents.
