Superbase Classic is the pioneer when it comes to relational database management system (RDBMS). The product was initially created in 1989 using RDBMS but was developed to use Peer-to-Peer Client / Server (PPCS) technology in 1999. The product combines the ease and functionality of a desktop database and an SQL database respectively. The result is a more reliable database management system with high performance and easy file and data sharing. The use of PPCS in Superbase Classic makes unlimited connection to multiple servers possible, access to all databases within connected servers possible. It eliminates the need to use two software products for client and server needs. The new Superbase Classic now features add-on creation where add-ons can be integrated into the Program menu. Only a maximum of eight add-ons can be added at one time. Superbase Classic owners are also provided with a data mining and analysis tool called the SuperView.

SBF Parser is a program generally classified as an application development tool, and this software is embedded with compatibility protocols for computers that are running on supported Microsoft Windows systems. Superbase SB Next Generation Workbench is an end-user desktop database program based on the Object-Basic programming language. Superbase Next Generation is comprised of a family of products and tools such as basic and advanced development tools, form designer, report designer and end-user database. The Superbase NG Workbench uses Common Gateway Interface (CGI), Fast Common Gateway Interface and Information Server Application Programming Interface (ISAPI). The Superbase NG Workbench can operate Windows (CGI, Fast CGI and ISAPI) and Intel-based Linux (CGI and Fast CGI only). Apple Mac OS-X support is under development at present. The Next Generation Workbench can support all SIMPOL value data types. These include Boolean, blob, number, integer and string. It also supports time, date and date/time data types. The Next Generation Workbench consists of the Superbase Next Generation IDE, Documentation of the IDE and Documentation about SIMPOL.
