Microsoft Student Graphing Calculator Application is also known as Microsoft Mathematics, formerly named as Microsoft Math. It does everything that a handheld graphing calculator is able to do with the expectation of the programming capabilities and allows users to solve math and science problems. The .gcw file extension is utilized by Microsoft Mathematics as a worksheet file. GCW files generally contain graphs and other mathematical concepts and equations that make the Math software a useful tool for students. The program goal is to make Math an easier subject. It is not a hidden matter to anybody that Math is most likely the hardest subject for most students. But, with this tool, students will be able to learn Math the easy way. This is not a tool for cheating though, but it is a tool that would change student’s view of the Math subject because with it, no homework would be left undone. It is more of a learning tool. Microsoft Math has received 2008 Award of Excellence from Tech & Learning Magazine.
