Task Juggler is a project management program that allows users to manage tasks from the conception of an idea to its project completion. It offers help in various tasks including resource assignment, budget and income planning, communication management, risk management and project scoping. A scheduler can be used to compute for project time frame to make sure deadlines are met. It also comes with consistency checker and a resource balancer to ensure efficiency of each project. This is best used by project managers implement planning methods like Agile Project Management and Extreme Programming. It has web publishing options and produces HTML reports, CSV data and iCalendar information. This software is written in Ruby and is easy to install on Linux, Unix OSes, Windows 7 and Mac OSX. The program also needs a command shell, a web browser and a plain text editor for it to fully function.
