If attachments won't open, it's likely you're encountering one or more of the following security restrictions:
 
1. Pop-ups are blocked

Some modern web browsers (or their plugins) automatically block pop-ups. These pop-up blockers can also prevent attachments from opening. You may need to turn off your pop-up blockers or adjust their settings to allow pop-ups from specific websites.

1. Open Chrome.
2. In the top-right corner, click the Chrome menu .
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Show advanced settings.
5. Under "Privacy," click Content settings.
6. Under "Pop-ups," select Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended) or Allow all sites to show pop-ups. 

2. Web browser security

If attachments still won't open, reset your web browser security settings to their defaults. Here's how it's done in Internet Explorer:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options. (If the Tools menu isn't visible, press the Alt key to see it.)
3. Select the Security tab and click Reset all zones to default level. (If it's grayed out, it means you're already using default settings.)
4. Select the Privacy tab and click Default. (If it's grayed out, it means you're already using default settings.)
5. Select the Advanced tab and click Reset.
6. Click OK, then restart your browser.

3. File naming conventions

When naming attachments, avoid using special characters, accents, and spaces. Use only letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens.
