You're here because you have a file that has a file extension ending in .dvds. Files with the file extension .dvds can only be launched by certain applications. It's possible that .dvds files are data files rather than documents or media, which means they're not meant to be viewed at all.

A DVDStyler project file is saved in the DVDS format, and this file format is integrated with XML-based specifications and standards for encoding and compressing data in the DVDS format. These DVDS files are affixed with the .dvds extension and are generally classified as data files used by the DVDStyler software. Integrated as project output files by the DVDStyler software, these DVDS files can be created, opened or viewed and modified using this application. There is a version of the DVDStyler program for Linux systems, while Mac users can also install and use the version of the DVDStyler software for Mac platforms. Users of computers running on Microsoft Windows-based systems can install the version of DVDStyler intended for such Microsoft Windows systems to implement support for the creation and modification of these DVDS files into their systems. The DVDStyler program was developed to provide Mac, Linux and Microsoft Windows users with a set of features for authoring and burning DVD disks. Aspect ratios, DVD menus, multimedia content and other attributes or elements and objects entered by authors of these DVDS files are the usual pieces of data stored in files appended with the .dvds extension. The DVDStyler application uses the content of these DVDS files as reference data when a user of the DVDStyler program views or uses a corresponding DVDS project output file. These DVDStyler project output files are, by default, stored in the XML file format.

Launch a .dvds file, or any other file on your PC, by double-clicking it. If your file associations are set up correctly, the application that's meant to open your .dvds file will open it. It's possible you may need to download or purchase the correct application. It's also possible that you have the correct application on your PC, but .dvds files aren't yet associated with it. In this case, when you try to open a .dvds file, you can tell Windows which application is the correct one for that file. From then on, opening a  .dvds file will open the correct application. Be careful not to rename the extension on .dvds files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .dvds. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
